Cultural routes
Trentino is the ideal destination for those seeking a unique experience straddling nature and culture. For lovers of art, science, history and popular traditions, five itineraries have been designed that include museums, castles, war forts and ancient mills.
Mart in Rovereto is the starting point of the first of these routes. A few steps away, the Casa d'Arte Futurista Depero presents a collection entirely dedicated to the Futurist artist, who founded it in the 1950s.
Museo dell'Alto Garda (MAG), Riva del Garda
The route continues on the shores of Lake Garda, about half an hour's drive from Rovereto, where the Museo dell'Alto Garda (MAG) is located. The MAG also includes Galleria Civica Giovanni Segantini in Arco, the artist's birthplace.
Other recommended stops include the Galleria Civica in Trento (Mart's third site), the Museo d’Arte Contemporanea in Cavalese (Val di Fiemme), and the Arte Sella open-air museum, in Valsugana.
