A Museum for all

Access and inclusion at Mart in Rovereto

Mart. An inclusive museum

At Mart, people with disabilities can find tools and solutions to support their visit in a welcoming and safe environment.

Every year the Education and Cultural Mediation Area collaborates with associations and social cooperatives, enabling more than 3,000 people to participate in the activities of the Museum. This work is constantly being developed by listening to and discussing with family members and professionals.

Here's our commitment to a more inclusive museum:

No architectural barriers

Six parking spaces for people with disabilities on Level 0 of the Mart car park

Lift access to all floors, except the mezzanine

A ROBY-T09 stairlift to access the mezzanine, operated by attendants

Wheelchairs available from the cloakroom

Guide dog access

A tablet-based, sign language video guide to the permanent Collections (in Italian) is available for free from the Mart's ticket office, for Deaf and hard of hearing people
