Cult North, a local partner of the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, is an association based in one of Rotterdam's northern districts that focuses on art education and the development of artistic interests among young, self-taught artists, helping them to develop, enhance and professionalise their talents.

On 2 February 2024, a photography workshop was organised in the museum's Depot for a group of young Cult North's female members.  After a visit to the Depot and Lee Miller's photography exhibition, led by curator Saskia van Kempen-Prein, the eight women attended a workshop led by photographer Iris Bergman.

The workshop gave participants the opportunity to experiment with the medium of photography inspired by the works of surrealist artist Lee Miller.  The shots taken by the young photographers were displayed digitally on a screen at Rotterdam's Night of the Museums on 2 March, with almost 5000 visitors to Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen's Depot.
