The library contains the books that belonged to the painter and his daughter, Gina Severini Franchina, who continued to add to the collection with books that directly or indirectly concerned her father. Most of the publications date from before 1966, the year of the artist’s death, and date from the last part of his life, long after his interest in Futurism, and document his consolidated international fortune critique. However, there are also documents probably collected in his youth, such as the second edition of Classicismo e futurismo by Soffici of 1914, Cubistes futuristes passéistes by Coquiot of the same year and Noi futuristi of 1917 by Marinetti.
