The papers show a multi-faceted artist involved on various fronts and areas of experimentation, ranging from painting to Motorumoristi three-dimensional artwork, graphic work, poetry and advertising architecture and operatic work to set design for the theatre and publishing projects.

The library consists of about 200 books belonging to Fortunato Depero relating to his artistic work and relations with the Futurist movement. They formed the basis for the Museo Depero Library which numbered about 2000 articles, mainly associated with Futurism, when it was acquired by Mart, given as gifts by former friends and employees, in exchanges with other institutions and purchased.
