An exponent of the group of abstract artists in Como and a leading figure in Italian abstraction in the 1930s, Radice’s collection prevalently contains preparatory drawings and sketches for his painting, and design and architecture projects.

The 176 books and pamphlets in the book collection including catalogues from the solo and collective exhibitions and critical essays document the art work and exhibition work of Mario Radice and the Gruppo Como from the starting point of the Fascist sindacali exhibitions of the 1920s to his abstract watershed until the first decade of the new millennium.
