On the occasion of the centenary of the death of Bartolomeo Bezzi, Mart, Castello del Buonconsiglio, the Municipality of Cles and the Municipality of Ossana join forces in a cultural project to celebrate this artist, one of the most important 19th century painters from Trentino.
Following an exhibition at Castel Caldes organised by the Castello del Buonconsiglio and a second one at the Palazzo Assessorile in the Municipality of Cles, the project arrives at the Mart with a last exhibition date.
Curated by Margherita de Pilati, the exhibition presents 17 large-scale works that made Bartolomeo Bezzi well-known and loved by the collectors and art critics of his time.
Accompanying the three exhibitions is a single catalogue, containing reproductions of all the works presented in chronological order and with a critical commentary.
