The Margherita Sarfatti collection consists of abundant documentation about her public work as journalist, writer, art critic and intellectual, together with other material from her personal and family life. The documents for the most part are concentrated in the 1920s and 1930s, and reveal the strong influence of Margherita in political and cultural life.

The library collection is a very important nucleus of the art library belonging to Margherita Sarfatti and testifies to the author’s tastes and interests. It numbers over 600 volumes, pamphlets and journals packed with notes and additions. The presence of handwritten dedications from the authors testifies to Sarfatti's relationship network with the intellectuals of the day.
